Company Description

We are a Chartered Accountancy firm with a strong presence in Coimbatore and Trichy in Tamil Nadu, specializing in taxation, audit, and compliance. We are looking to expand our dynamic team by hiring an Accounts & Audit Executive who will be responsible for handling compliance, taxation, and audit assignments.

 

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Audit Assistant located in Tiruchirappalli. The Audit Assistant will be responsible for assisting in financial audits, preparing audit reports, and analyzing financial statements. The role will also include supporting senior auditors in various tasks, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

Compliance & Accounting

  • Maintain and update Books of Accounts in Tally/other accounting software.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, and TDS provisions.
  • Preparation and filing of GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, 9C).
  • Preparation and filing of Income Tax Returns for individuals, firms, and companies.
  • Monthly/Quarterly TDS computation, payment, and filing of returns (Form 24Q, 26Q, etc.).
  • Assistance in ROC filings and other MCA compliances (desirable).

Audit

  • Assist in conducting Statutory Audits in accordance with Companies Act, 2013.
  • Handle Tax Audits under section 44AB of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
  • Conduct Internal Audits and ensure adherence to internal controls.
  • Preparation of audit working papers, schedules, and reports.

 

Skills & Qualifications

  • Semi-qualified CA / CA Inter / CMA Inter preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Accounts, GST, TDS, and Income Tax compliance.
  • Good knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) / Accounting Standards (AS).
  • Hands-on experience with Tally ERP, MS Excel and GST/IT e-filing portals.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
