Property Portfolio Accountant

Job Title:We are seeking an experienced Property Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting and property management, with excellent analytical and communication skills.This role involves managing day-to-day accounting operations for U.S.-based property portfolios. Key responsibilities include handling daily accounting tasks, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for recording and reconciling accounts payable and receivable transactions, processing tenant payments, deposits, and refunds, and preparing and maintaining property-level financial statements.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 1-4 years of experience in property management or real estate accounting. Proficiency in ResMan is mandatory, and knowledge of GAAP principles is preferred. Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential.Key Responsibilities:Manage daily accounting operations for U.S.-based property portfoliosHandle daily accounting tasks, reconciliations, and financial reportingRecord and reconcile accounts payable and receivable transactionsProcess tenant payments, deposits, and refundsPrepare and maintain property-level financial statementsCollaborate with onshore accounting and property management teams for budget tracking, vendor payments, and issue resolutionQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field1-4 years of experience in property management or real estate accountingProficiency in ResManKnowledge of GAAP principles (preferred)
