Key Responsibilities

• Cold Outreach: Making outbound cold calls (and often emails or LinkedIn outreach) to prospective customers.

• Qualifying Leads: Understanding whether the potential customer fits the company’s target profile and has real interest.

• Booking Meetings: Scheduling calls or demos with Account Executives (AEs) or sales managers.

• Maintaining Customer Relationships: While SDRs don’t usually own the customer long-term, they often handle the first touchpoint, nurture early interest, and hand over warm leads to AEs.


Skills Needed

• Strong communication and persuasion skills (especially on the phone).

• Resilience and persistence (since cold calling can mean lots of rejection).

• Basic CRM knowledge (e.g., Salesforce) to track prospects and activities.

• Curiosity and ability to ask the right discovery questions.
