Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the organization, including strategic planning, financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, risk management, and ensuring financial stability and growth. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
1.IPO Cycle & Capital Markets:
- Lead and oversee the entire Initial Public Offering (IPO) process, from preparation to post-IPO reporting.
- Work closely with legal, advisory, and underwriter teams to ensure compliance and meet IPO timelines.
- Prepare the necessary financial documentation, including financial statements, due diligence reports, and other filings required by regulatory authorities.
- Ensure adherence to stock exchange requirements and SEC/SEBI guidelines (or relevant authorities).
- Coordinate investor relations and manage communications with stakeholders during the IPO.
2. Fundraising & Investor Relations:
- Lead fundraising efforts, including debt and equity financing, private placements, and venture capital.
- Develop and maintain relationships with investors, financial institutions, and capital markets.
- Oversee the structuring of financial deals, ensuring that capital raising efforts align with the company’s growth strategy.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for investors, boards, and analysts.
- Assess and manage the company’s capital structure to optimize financial growth and minimize cost of capital.
3.Compliance & Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure full compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and legal requirements (e.g., Sarbanes-Oxley Act, Companies Act).
- Manage financial audits, working with external auditors to ensure accurate reporting and resolution of audit issues.
- Maintain awareness of evolving regulations and compliance standards, ensuring timely adjustments in financial reporting and practices.
- Liaise with regulators and handle all necessary filings and regulatory documentation.
4.GST & Tax Management:
- Oversee the implementation and compliance of GST regulations, ensuring proper filing of GST returns and payments.
- Ensure efficient tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities while adhering to local and international tax laws.
- Supervise the tax function, ensuring accurate reporting, timely payments, and management of audits or disputes with tax authorities.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors and ensure compliance with VAT, GST, and other indirect taxes, both domestically and internationally.
5.Financial Strategy & Leadership:
- Drive the financial strategy of the company, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term business objectives.
- Provide guidance and strategic advice to the CEO and Board on matters related to financial performance, growth opportunities, and capital structure.
- Lead the finance team, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Implement financial risk management strategies to protect the company’s assets and ensure financial stability.
6.Cash Flow & Capital Management:
- Manage the company’s cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Oversee treasury functions, ensuring that cash is optimized across business units.
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure optimal financing arrangements.
7.Financial Reporting & Performance Analysis:
- Oversee the preparation of accurate financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure the reporting process is aligned with accounting standards and company policies.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying trends and advising on opportunities for improvement.
8.Team Leadership & Development:
- Build and mentor a high-performing finance team, ensuring professional growth and effective performance.
- Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, and financial discipline within the organization.
- Lead recruitment, training, and career development for finance department staff.
