Market Data & Analysis Specialist – Hospitality, Tourism & LeisureLocation: AhmedabadCompany: Global Network – International Consultancy in Tourism, Hospitality & LeisureDepartment: Market Intelligence & Data AnalysisProfile & SkillsMinimum 5 years’ experience in consultancy, market research, and data management (preferably within hospitality, tourism, or investment sectors).Strong analytical and quantitative skills – able to extract insights from complex datasets.Advanced Excel proficiency (data modelling, pivot tables, dashboards).Proficient in PowerPoint – clear visual presentation of data.Experience with SharePoint or other data management systems (preferred).Familiarity with AI tools for data organization and visualization (advantage).Fluent in English.Excellent organization and communication skills.Autonomous, proactive, and fast learner, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Strong sense of design and attention to detail.Committed to excellence — we expect precision, reliability, and pride in every deliverable.Collaborative mindset – able to work effectively with an international team while taking ownership of individual deliverables.Bold and curious nature – eager to propose improvements, innovations, and smarter ways of working.Comfortable in a small, fast-paced team, taking ownership of different responsibilities and contributing to both strategic and operational outputs.Key ResponsibilitiesCollect, structure, and maintain market and performance data across hospitality, tourism, and leisure sectors, including Portuguese and international databases.Develop and manage Excel-based databases to track hotel chains, tourism trends, and investment benchmarks.Support the creation of PowerPoint-based analytical reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).Produce market studies and investment reports, ensuring alignment with brand standards.Contribute to business plans and strategic positioning studies with relevant data insights.Actively participate in concept creation, positioning and operational phases, helping translate market data into strong conceptual and operational directions. The market analysis will directly support how we define our concepts, positioning, and operational models.Collaborate with consultants to interpret KPIs, identify trends, and provide analytical support for project concepts and client deliverables.Maintain and optimize SharePoint databases and reporting tools.Systematise and structure existing data from previous reports into coherent, robust, and well-organised databases.Create and maintain databases that are intuitive and easy to navigate for the entire team, ensuring accessibility and consistency across all projects.Suggest and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and data accuracy.Ensure punctual delivery and high-quality presentation of all reports and databases.Participate actively in team discussions, share insights, and help other team members navigate data systems.
