Medical Administrative Assistant RoleWe are seeking a compassionate and friendly Medical Administrative Assistant to fill this position.This role is ideal for individuals with effective communication skills who enjoy working in an administrative capacity within the medical field.Key Responsibilities:Assist with completing medical assessments, interviewing clients via phone or video conference, and maintaining electronic medical records.Manage and fill out medical paperwork, client case management, and record medical history, vitals, and progress notes.Create summary reports for client medical history prior to consultation with the doctor or nurse.Fulfill general compliance paperwork, registration forms, and other related documents.Manage and schedule medical appointments for clients based on priority.Answer and direct general phone calls, communicate clearly with clients and medical professionals, and maintain professional knowledge.Assist with participant enrollments, Medicaid approvals, government waiver approvals, and interactions with government and private agencies.Required Skills and Qualifications:Fluency in English reading, speaking, and understanding.Bachelor's Degree minimum.At least 1 year of experience working in the medical field in an administrative role.Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and medical terminologies.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and web-based applications.What We Offer:The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, be able to multitask, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.They should also be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
