We are looking for Backup Admin Lead for Pune location.Experience : 12+ yearsKey Responsibilities:Lead the Backup Administration team in day-to-day operations, project planning, and escalation support.Design, implement, and maintain enterprise backup solutions using tools such as Commvault, Veritas NetBackup, Veeam, Dell EMC Avamar/Data Domain, or similar.Develop and maintain data protection policies, procedures, and documentation.Monitor backup jobs and system performance, proactively resolving failures and inefficiencies.Ensure successful execution of backup jobs and restore processes for physical and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, cloud-based).Perform regular disaster recovery testing and maintain DR runbooks and procedures.Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure data protection standards are met for new systems.Ensure compliance with data retention, privacy, and security regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).Manage backup infrastructure lifecycle, including upgrades, patches, and capacity planning.Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).Strong knowledge of backup technologies (e.g., Commvault, Dell EMC, Cohesity).Solid understanding of disaster recovery, data retention policies, and business continuity planning.Experience with scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to automate backup processes.Familiar with ITIL practices and service management tools like ServiceNow.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and leadership skills.Full Name (As per Aadhaar Card)Contact NumberEmail IDCurrent CompanyTotal ExperienceRelevant ExperienceCurrent Salary (Fixed + Variable)Expected SalaryCTC of offer in hand (if any) Primary SkillsNotice Period/LWDCurrent LocationPreferred LocationHighest Qualification & %10th % 12th % or Diploma % Graduation %Post-Graduation % (if yes)
