Senior Enterprise Data Architect

Job Title: Enterprise Data ArchitectWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Data Modeler to lead our team in designing scalable enterprise data solutions.The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience building conceptual, logical, and physical data models, enabling enterprise-wide data governance, and leading cloud-based data modernization initiatives.Design, develop, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for OLTP, OLAP, data warehouses, and cloud platforms.Apply Medallion architecture, ER modeling, dimensional modeling (Star/Snowflake), Data Vault, and advanced data modeling techniques.Build reusable intermediary data layers and physical consumable views for data marts.Ensure alignment of data models with enterprise architecture and business requirements.Requirements & DeliverablesPartner with business/product teams to understand processes, gather requirements, and translate them into high-level specifications.Develop data mapping, source-to-target documents, metadata documentation, and lineage diagrams.Data Governance & Quality AssuranceImplement and oversee data governance frameworks, data retention policies, and data quality rules.Use data observability tools and automated anomaly detection mechanisms.Maintain business glossaries, reference data, and data dictionaries.Cloud Platforms & CollaborationWork extensively on cloud platforms such as Snowflake, BigQuery, and GCP; contribute to cloud solution architecture.Guide engineers in ETL/ELT design, Snowflake implementation, and performance optimization.Support DevOps, DataOps, and CI/CD data pipelines.Stakeholder Management & LeadershipAct as the principal reviewer for all data models and architecture artifacts across projects.Mentor and coach junior modelers, analysts, and engineers.Communicate insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.Migration & Modernization InitiativesLead data migration initiatives across BFSI, healthcare, or enterprise domains.Conduct profiling, lineage analysis, performance tuning, and schema optimization.Review stored procedures, database objects, triggers, and business logic.About the RoleThis is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned data professional to drive data strategy, innovation, and excellence within our organization.
