Job Title: Oracle EBS Functional Consultant – O2C

Location: [Offshore]

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Oracle EBS Functional Consultant specializing in the Order to Cash (O2C) process to support our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) implementation. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing Oracle EBS O2C modules, working closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements, map business processes, and deliver effective solutions. This role requires expertise in Oracle EBS modules related to O2C, such as Order Management, Receivables, Pricing, and Inventory.


Key Responsibilities


• Requirements Gathering and Analysis:

o Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document detailed requirements for the O2C process, identifying current pain points and improvement opportunities.

o Conduct gap analysis between existing processes and Oracle EBS O2C capabilities, defining functional specifications.

• Solution Design and Configuration:

o Design and configure Oracle EBS O2C modules, including Order Management, Receivables, Pricing, and Inventory, to meet business requirements.

o Define setup configurations, transaction flows, and workflows within the O2C process, ensuring alignment with best practices.

• Testing and Validation:

o Develop and execute functional test cases, including unit, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT), to validate O2C configurations.

o Identify and resolve issues during testing, collaborating with technical teams for solution adjustments as needed.

• Process Documentation:

o Document functional designs, configurations, and process flows for the O2C process within Oracle EBS.

o Prepare user guides, training materials, and SOPs to facilitate knowledge transfer and end-user adoption.

o Conduct training sessions and workshops for business users, ensuring familiarity with the Oracle EBS O2C modules and processes.

o Provide post-implementation support for users, troubleshooting issues and ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.

• Collaboration and Coordination:

o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, IT, Operations) to ensure seamless integration and alignment across related business processes.

o Act as a liaison between business and technical teams to communicate functional requirements and facilitate effective implementation.


Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Implementation:

Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of the O2C modules (OM, AR, Inventory, Shipping, CM) in Oracle EBS, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices.

• Process Optimization:

Assess existing O2C processes and identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure compliance with financial policies.

• Functional Expertise:

Serve as the primary functional expert for Oracle EBS O2C modules, offering insights on capabilities, configuration options, and integration points with other ERP modules.

• Requirements Gathering:

Engage with business stakeholders to gather requirements, conduct gap analysis, and design tailored solutions to address both global and regional needs.


• Testing & Quality Assurance:

Develop comprehensive test plans, oversee functional testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure successful implementation.

• Documentation & Training: Create detailed documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and training materials, and conduct training sessions for end-users and key stakeholders.

• Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams, effectively communicating project updates, risks, and issues.

• Change Management: Support change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and systems, providing expertise on O2C-related transformation impacts.

• Post-Implementation Support: Provide post-go-live support, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with technical teams to resolve system and process challenges related to O2C. Oracle EBS Functional Consultant – O2C Page 3 of 3 Qualifications: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.


• Experience:


Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS, with at least 5 years specializing in O2C modules (OM, AR, Inventory, Shipping, CM).

• Functional Expertise:


Strong knowledge of Oracle EBS O2C modules, with a solid understanding of sales order processing, billing, revenue recognition, and cash management processes. Expertise in Oracle EBS & SCM Suite of applications – OM, Inventory, Purchasing, Advanced Pricing, Mobile SCM etc., and understanding of other modules like ASCP, PIM, OPM, OPM Costing, OPM Quality and WMS

• Project Experience: Proven experience in end-to-end Oracle ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and post-go-live support. • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex business needs and translate them into effective functional solutions. • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Team Collaboration: Ability to work well within cross-functional teams, including business users, technical staff, and external consultants, to deliver successful O2C solutions.


Preferred Qualifications: • Certifications: Oracle EBS Order Management or Accounts Receivable certifications or similar ERP-related certifications.

• Global Experience: Experience with global deployments, multi-currency transactions, and cross-regional O2C processes.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific O2C practices in sectors such as manufacturing, retail, or distribution
