Business Continuity Planning ProfessionalAbout the Role:The Senior Associate BCP must demonstrate hands-on experience in managing business continuity programs that address disaster recovery, business continuity, and emergency response management. The role requires a solid understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response methodologies and frameworks.Responsibilities:Documenting BCP plans, DR plans, and emergency response plans for project and support teams.Performing BC/DR risk assessments to identify single points of failure (SPOFs) and potential threats to business operations.Conducting Business Impact Analysis to identify critical business processes, applications, maximum acceptable outage, recovery time objective, and recovery point objective.Developing Business Continuity Recovery Plans to address failure scenarios and recovery strategies.Collaborating with technology teams to understand and develop disaster recovery strategies across IT infrastructure, critical business applications, and additional technology services.Executing recovery and restoration of critical applications using relevant tools.Creating and updating BCP/DR materials and documentation, such as recovery plans, call trees, test results, etc.Participating in simulation tests, tabletop exercises, and DR/technology recovery tests.Monitoring and reporting compliance to BCM processes.Assisting during client audits and visits.E nsuring quality deliverables and client satisfaction.Serving as a point of contact for project and support teams for BCP/DR.Fostering effective stakeholder engagement both locally and globally.Cultivating relationships across internal teams and working towards building professional networks.Maintaining a positive, transparent, and collaborative working environment for the team.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, science, math, engineering, computers, security, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in managing Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery programs.Technical certifications such as CBCP, DRM are a plus.Working knowledge of off-the-shelf BCP/DR products is an advantage.Solid understanding of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency response methodologies and frameworks.Required Skills:Business Continuity PlanningDisaster RecoveryServer OperationsVirtualizationBackup & RestoreEmergency ResponseCrisis CommunicationProject ManagementPeople ManagementCommunications and TeamworkPreferred Skills:ISO 22301 implementation or auditing experience.Demonstrable ability to liaise with various business units, internal teams, and external teams to understand business requirements and provide reasonable business continuity and disaster recovery mitigations.Strong oral communications and writing skills are a must.Experience in managing projects independently.A self-starter with strong organizational skills to enable navigation of the company to identify sponsors, stakeholders, and interested parties.Benefits:This position offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
