What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.
We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X ) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital ).
The Role
This leader will be responsible for driving multiple products with company-wide and industry-wide impact. In this specific role, you would be responsible for building merchant acquisition & onboarding journeys across Razorpay product suite for both domestic & international markets . This role will be a mix of at-scale product innovation as well as new initiatives in the zero-to-one phase. Primary customer persona for which you would be building products will be merchants looking with the need for fintech products across payments, neo banking and capital products. Prior background in building for this persona as well as in payments would be an added advantage. In this role, you would be expected to build a strong domain depth and be an expert at Razorpay product(s) and across the industry.
Razorpay has expanded across a suite of products across payments, neobanking & new fintech use cases for merchants. Our team focuses on acquiring & onboarding users till transactions across this product suite across India & beyond. The role will require you to work across multiple stakeholders ranging from business, compliance & legal, risk and core user support teams. The core goals will center around conversions and building best in class merchant experience .
Roles and Responsibilities
- Owner Mindset: As a Product Leader, you will be expected to be another entrepreneur at Razorpay who exhibits owner mindset and is comfortable to go beyond the defined role. You embrace as well as excel and thrive in front of a complex, ambiguous and uncertain challenge.
- Product Leadership: Set processes and systems to scale the team and its effectiveness. Mentor and invest in the growth of your team. Identify hiring needs and own hiring end to end in your area. Lead from the front and be comfortable to be hands-on.
- Business Strategy: Craft out our long term vision and business strategy to achieve the northstar. Identify new product lines and innovation opportunities.
- Product Strategy: Define both long term product strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
- Execution: You will primarily drive product conceptualisation, product development, execution and Go-to-Market via your team. Leaders at Razorpay are expected to be comfortable in being hands-on.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- You have a total of 8+ years experience with 5-7 years of experience in Product Management with at least 1+ years of experience as a senior PM leading/ mentoring a team of at least 2-3 product managers.

- You work well with internal ( design, engineering & analytics) & external stakeholders across business, marketing, compliance, legal, risk and customer operations
- You have a strong focus on experience and system driven thinking.
- You understand technology, but love customer-first & business-first thinking.
- You are comfortable working hands-on as a leader in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- You are curious about metrics, execution processes, macro trends.
- Energetic self-starter with the hunger to work independently in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
