About Us:
FretBox is a leading enterprise hostel management solution designed to simplify and enhance hostel management for universities. With a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions, we are scaling up operations and seeking a dynamic Associate Sales Director to drive growth in South India.
Role Overview:
The Associate Sales Director will be responsible for driving sales of FretBox’s hostel management solution across universities in South India. The ideal candidate will possess a proven ability to engage with top university management, demonstrate the value of technology-driven solutions, and close high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the South Indian university market.
- Identify and prioritize high-potential leads to meet and exceed sales targets.
2. Client Engagement:
- Establish and maintain relationships with top university management, including Vice Chancellors, Deans, and Directors.
- Conduct presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations tailored to the needs of the client.
3. Market Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research to identify market trends, competitive landscape, and potential opportunities.
- Provide feedback to the product team for enhancements based on client requirements.
4. Collaboration & Reporting:
- Work closely with the internal marketing and technical teams to support client acquisition.
- Prepare regular reports detailing sales performance, market insights, and projections.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 5–8 years in enterprise sales, with a strong focus on universities or the education sector.
- Proven track record of engaging with top management and closing high-value deals.
- Experience selling SaaS or tech-based solutions is a significant advantage.
- Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building abilities.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to strategize effectively.
- Regional Expertise: Familiarity with the South Indian education ecosystem and fluency in English and at least one South Indian language is preferred.
