Accounting AssociateAs an integral member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records. This includes timely booking of income, expenses, and purchases in Tally ERP.Perform daily accounting entries, including:Expense bookingIncome bookingPurchase bookingMaintain accurate classification of ledger heads and ensure error-free data entry.Conduct periodic reconciliation of:IncomeExpensesBank statementsVendor and customer balancesGST reconciliationEnsure timely collection and verification of bills/invoices from relevant departments.Prepare statutory returns, including:Monthly GST return (GSTR-1 & GSTR-3B)Quarterly TDS returnAssist in handling GST and TDS queries and maintaining working papers.Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure 100% compliance.Maintain systematic and well-organised physical and digital documentation of all accounting records.Key Responsibilities:Ensure timely preparation and submission of financial reports and MIS.Support the Accounts Manager during internal/external audits by providing required information and schedules.Coordinate with internal departments to resolve document-related and accounts-related discrepancies.Required Skills & Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance or equivalent.1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (Travel industry experience preferred but not mandatory).Proficiency in Tally ERP and MS Excel.Good understanding of accounting principles and statutory compliances (GST & TDS).Strong attention to detail and discipline in following SOPs.Ability to maintain organized documentation and meet deadlines.
