Job Title: Financial Operations SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in GST filing, payroll management, and bookkeeping in an Indian context.The successful candidate will be responsible for:Preparing and filing GST returns on a regular basis, adhering to the prescribed deadlines.Reviewing and verifying GST-related documents, invoices, and receipts to ensure accuracy and compliance.Monitoring changes in GST regulations and communicating the implications to relevant stakeholders.Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to resolve any GST-related queries or issues promptly.In addition, the Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for:Oversight of the entire payroll process, including salary calculations, deductions, reimbursements, and tax withholding.Maintenance and update of employee payroll records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.Handling payroll tax deductions and compliance with applicable laws and regulations.Addressing employee payroll inquiries and resolving discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.The Financial Operations Specialist will also be responsible for:Accurately recording financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.Maintenance of general ledger entries, ensuring that all financial activities are appropriately documented.Reconciliation of bank statements, credit card transactions, and other financial accounts regularly.Generation of financial reports and statements, providing insights to management on financial performance.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Proven experience as a Financial Operations Specialist with expertise in GST filing, payroll management, and bookkeeping in an Indian context.Thorough understanding of Indian accounting principles, taxation, and regulatory requirements.Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office suite.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with team members and external stakeholders.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
