Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development and Marketing Manager with a strong background in Geo-Spatial projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and acquiring new business, particularly in technology-related sectors. You will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies, identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and achieving ambitious sales targets. Experience with government and international projects is a must.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement effective marketing plans to promote our Geo-Spatial solutions and services.
- Business Growth: Lead initiatives to acquire new clients and projects, focusing on expanding our market presence both domestically and internationally.
- Client Acquisition: Identify and engage potential clients, including government agencies and international organizations, to generate new business.
- Sales and Revenue Targets: Set ambitious sales goals and develop strategies to achieve and exceed them.
- Brand Promotion: Enhance the company's brand awareness in the Geo-Spatial industry through targeted marketing campaigns and networking events.
- Proposal and Bid Management: Lead the preparation and submission of proposals and bids for government and international projects.
- Market Research: Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the Geo-Spatial sector.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Team Leadership: Potential to build and lead a marketing and business development team as the department grows.
- Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including R&D and technical departments, to align marketing strategies with company objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications for Business Development and Marketing Manager
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years in business development and marketing roles within the Geo-Spatial industry.
- Marketing Expertise: Proven experience in developing and executing successful marketing strategies for Geo-Spatial projects.
- Geo-Spatial Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Geo-Spatial technologies, including GIS, BIM, and remote sensing.
- Project Acquisition: Demonstrated success in acquiring government and international projects.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, including presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong ability to develop long-term business strategies and adapt to market changes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA or relevant advanced degree is a plus.
- Skills: Marketing strategy, business development, client relationship management, proposal writing, sales forecasting, market research.
- Network: Established network within the Geo-Spatial industry and related government sectors.
Required Skills & Qualifications for Business Development and Marketing Executive
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in marketing and business development roles within the Geo-Spatial sector.
- Marketing Skills: Experience in executing marketing campaigns and supporting business growth initiatives.
- Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Geo-Spatial technologies and their applications.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage clients effectively.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Skills: Marketing support, lead generation, client engagement, market research, proposal assistance.
