We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical QA Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for validating the accuracy, functionality, and performance of newly developed data reports and dashboards. You’ll work closely with data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to ensure that reporting outputs meet business requirements and maintain the highest standards of data integrity.Key ResponsibilitiesReview report specifications and business requirements to develop comprehensive test plans and test casesPerform functional, regression, and data validation testing on newly created reports and dashboardsValidate data accuracy by comparing report outputs against source systems and SQL queriesIdentify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira)Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to troubleshoot and resolve data discrepanciesAutomate report validation processes where applicable using tools like Python, SQL, or testing frameworksContribute to the development of QA best practices and testing standards for reportingRequired Qualifications4+ years of experience in QA, data validation, or report testing rolesExperience testing BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or Sigma ComputingFamiliarity with ETL processes and data pipelinesExcellent attention to detail and a passion for data accuracyStrong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionallyPreferred SkillsFamiliarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, SQL)Understanding of data governance and quality frameworks
