Key Responsibilities:Serving as a Senior US Accountant involves overseeing core financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable, and general ledger management. This role requires preparing accurate estimates, invoices, and reconciliations, calculating sales taxes, and remitting royalties.Main Accountabilities:Manage all core financial operations, ensuring timely completion of tasks such as billing, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.Prepare and maintain accurate estimates, invoices, credit memos, purchase orders, bills, vendor credits, and reconciliations for both vendor and customer accounts.Calculate, report, and remit sales taxes and royalties; ensure timely tax filings and documentation for vendors and accountants.Lead monthly financial closing and deliver accurate financial reports within defined timelines.Perform journal entries, accrual accounting tasks, and support external accounting firms for quarterly and annual tax filings.Monitor company budgets, cash flow, and financial performance; generate assigned financial and operational reports.Provide financial guidance to leadership and coach junior staff on financial data to support better decision-making.Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with US federal and state regulations.Participate in regular learning pathways to maintain and enhance technical knowledge.Required Skills and Qualifications:The ideal candidate will possess expertise in QuickBooks Online and Google Suite. Proficiency in preparing accurate estimates, invoices, and reconciliations is essential, along with the ability to calculate and report sales taxes and royalties.
