Workday Core HCM Functional Consultant

About the Role
As a Workday HCM Functional Consultant with E1, you will manage all aspects of the implementation lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and post-go-live support. You will also provide strategic guidance and handle support requests to help clients optimize their Workday environments on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to successful Workday HCM implementations by leveraging deep product knowledge and consulting experience.
- Provide post-go-live support to clients, handle support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and recommend enhancements to ensure continued Workday effectiveness.
- Partner with clients to understand business needs and translate them into effective Workday configurations, building prototypes and assisting with testing.
- Support data migration activities by guiding clients through legacy data conversion and Workday-specific data strategies.
- Mentor and provide product knowledge to other team members, fostering growth and knowledge-sharing within E1 Consulting.
- Proactively manage client relationships, deliver on project timelines, and provide strategic insights that align with E1’s commitment to value-driven consulting.
About You
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of functional experience in Workday's Core HCM module.
- At least 1 end-to-end implementation experience or 1 year of support project experience.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, configuration, and deployment of Workday HCM solutions.
- Active Workday certification (at-least Core HCM Services or Pro)
Other Qualifications:
- Strong client management skills with a history of building positive, long-term client relationships.
- Experience mentoring junior consultants and sharing product knowledge within a team.
- Proficiency in configuring multiple Workday HCM modules, such as Core HCM, Recruitment Compensation, Talent or Absence Management.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented mindset to support clients' evolving needs.
- Familiarity with data migration, testing, and deployment best practices to ensure accurate, high-quality implementations.
