As a Senior Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Oracle databases across various environments.Key Responsibilities:Database ManagementInstall, configure, upgrade, and manage Oracle databases in development, testing, and production environments.Monitor database performance, implement performance tuning, and optimize queries.Backup & RecoveryDesign and implement backup and recovery strategies using RMAN or other tools. Manage disaster recovery plans to ensure database availability and resilience.Database SecurityImplement database security policies, including user management, access controls, and encryption. Perform audits to ensure compliance with security standards.Performance Tuning & OptimizationIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks. Optimize database queries, indexes, and configurations for efficient operations.TroubleshootingHandle database incidents, root cause analysis, and problem resolution. Provide support for database issues and ensure minimal downtime.Patching & UpdatesApply database patches and updates as required. Maintain database software and hardware compatibility.DocumentationPrepare and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
