Gain hands-on experience in application security through our 12-month internship program.We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Cybersecurity Trainee & Intern.This opportunity is designed for students or recent graduates interested in information security, penetration testing, and application security. You will gain comprehensive guidance and practical exposure to the core practices of penetration testing, application security, and information security.The first 12 months are an unpaid training period where you will receive structured mentorship and support from experienced security professionals. You will be expected to dedicate full availability during this time to ensure maximum learning and development.After successfully completing the training period, you will transition to a paid internship, working on real-world projects such as conducting security assessments, performing vulnerability analyses, and developing reports on security findings.During your tenure with us, you will have opportunities to work with experienced professionals, expand your network, and develop valuable skills in a rapidly growing and in-demand field.Assist with security assessments: Support security professionals in conducting various application security assessments, including vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, static/dynamic analysis, and manual code reviews.Security research: Conduct research on emerging application security threats, vulnerabilities, and attack vectors, contributing to the company's knowledge base.Tool evaluation: Evaluate and compare different application security tools and technologies, providing recommendations based on their effectiveness and suitability.Vulnerability analysis: Analyze identified vulnerabilities to understand their potential impact and exploitability.Documentation: Assist in creating and maintaining security documentation, including reports, presentations, and knowledge base articles.Automation: Explore opportunities to automate security tasks and processes, improving efficiency and scalability.QualificationsWe welcome applications from students or recent graduates who possess a strong foundation in computer science, information security, or a related field.Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.Demonstrated interest in application security through projects, coursework, or extracurricular activities.Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and common web frameworks.Familiarity with at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C++, Go).Basic understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.BenefitsThis opportunity offers:Hands-on experience in application security.Mentorship from experienced security professionals.Networking opportunities with industry experts.Skill development in a rapidly growing field.Resume building with relevant experience in a reputable organization.Potential for future opportunities within the company or broader industry.
