Instrumentation Systems SpecialistThe Instrumentation Systems Specialist plays a pivotal role in the development and maintenance of instrumentation systems that ensure precise monitoring and efficient operation of food and beverage manufacturing processes.Key Responsibilities:Design, implement, and maintain instrumentation systems including flow meters, pressure transmitters, temperature sensors, level indicators, and control valves.Develop and optimize control logic, alarm systems, and interlocks to guarantee safe and efficient operations.Collaborate with process, electrical, and mechanical engineers to integrate instrumentation into new and existing systems.Troubleshoot instrumentation faults and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and regulatory standards in instrumentation design and implementation.Maintain documentation including loop diagrams, instrument index, calibration records, and SOPs.Support commissioning, validation, and audit readiness for instrumentation systems.Qualifications & Skills:Requirement• Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical EngineeringExperience• 4–8 years in instrumentation engineering within food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturingTools• Proficiency in PLC (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA, HART protocol, and calibration toolsCertifications• ISA, ISO 9001, or relevant automation certifications preferredSkills• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and cross-functional collaboration; knowledge of hygiene and food-grade instrumentation is a plusPosition1Salary30 LPAKey Interfaces• Production & Operations• Maintenance & Utilities• Quality Assurance & Food Safety• Automation & Electrical Teams• External Vendors & ContractorsSuccess Metrics• High reliability and accuracy of instrumentation systems• Reduced downtime and improved process control• Compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards• Successful execution of automation and instrumentation projects
