We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive the growth of our innovative software products, including SPOs+, POS+Inventory, and Emark. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing strategies, managing the sales team, and achieving sales targets. This role requires a blend of strategic planning and hands-on leadership to ensure the company’s products are effectively marketed and sold to our target customers.
Key Responsibilities- Sales Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve company goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
- Set sales targets and KPIs for the team and ensure their achievement.
- Team Leadership and Development
- Recruit, train, and mentor sales team members to create a high-performing team.
- Monitor team performance and provide guidance to meet and exceed targets.
- Conduct regular sales meetings and performance reviews.
- Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and resolving concerns.
- Market and Product Knowledge
- Stay updated on the latest market trends, competitor activities, and product offerings.
- Work closely with product and marketing teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
- Sales Operations and Reporting
- Oversee sales processes, including lead generation, pipeline management, and deal closure.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and present insights to the leadership team.
- Manage the sales budget and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaboration
- Partner with marketing to develop promotional campaigns.
- Work with customer support to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate with product development teams to provide market feedback for product improvement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager or in a similar leadership role, preferably in the tech or software industry.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills to manage and inspire a sales team.
- Strong understanding of sales processes and CRM systems.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and trends.
- Familiarity with the restaurant, eCommerce, or related industries is a plus.
