Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and optimizing complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages and functions.
- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle
- Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code, Etl packages
- Practice and implement best practices in every aspect of project deliverables.
- Ability to thrive under pressure & work in a fast-paced, timeline-oriented environment.
- Writing/developing clean & modular packages/jobs that adheres to standards & best practices.
- Communicating with both technical & non-technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange between platforms.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, project managers & business analysts to ensure integration requirements are well-defined & met.
- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
- Developing ETL process to extract and load data.
Requirements:
- Master's/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Extract, Transform and Load using Etl tools and writing complex queries.
- Able to understand complex stored procedures and should be able to make changes.
- Able to troubleshoot any failed task/jobs and provide solutions.
- Experienced and demonstrated ability to track back to the source of the issues, document and resolve the root cause of the issue.
- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, MySql, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)
- Hands-on experience with development skills in JavaScript/Python, and Git is preferred.
- Experience in AWS could platform/components.
- Experience with XML, JSON, ETL tools, middleware, API calls and messaging protocols.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and should be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- Able to work on multiple projects parallelly.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience with Pentaho ETL Tool
- Good knowledge of Python scripting is a plus.
