Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Designing, developing and optimizing complex SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages and functions.- Contributing to all phases of the development lifecycle- Writing well-designed, testable, efficient code, Etl packages- Practice and implement best practices in every aspect of project deliverables.- Ability to thrive under pressure & work in a fast-paced, timeline-oriented environment.- Writing/developing clean & modular packages/jobs that adheres to standards & best practices.- Communicating with both technical & non-technical teams to ensure seamless data exchange between platforms.- Work closely with cross-functional teams, project managers & business analysts to ensure integration requirements are well-defined & met.- Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.- Developing ETL process to extract and load data.
Requirements:
- Master's/bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.- 3+ years of experience in Extract, Transform and Load using Etl tools and writing complex queries.- Able to understand complex stored procedures and should be able to make changes.- Able to troubleshoot any failed task/jobs and provide solutions.- Experienced and demonstrated ability to track back to the source of the issues, document and resolve the root cause of the issue.- Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL, MySql, and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate)- Hands-on experience with development skills in JavaScript/Python, and Git is preferred.- Experience in AWS could platform/components.- Experience with XML, JSON, ETL tools, middleware, API calls and messaging protocols.- Strong communication and leadership skills.- Ability to handle multiple tasks and should be able to adapt to a constantly changing environment.- Able to work on multiple projects parallelly.- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.- Experience with Pentaho ETL Tool- Good knowledge of Python scripting is a plus.
