Desktop Engineering Support PositionWe are seeking a Desktop Engineering Support professional to assist with resolving complex desktop-related issues and improving user productivity.The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating systemic problems that negatively impact the end-user experience, implementing solutions to increase efficiency, and collaborating with business partners to understand needs and pain points that affect productivity.The primary focus of this role will be on addressing issues arising during device migration as a result of merger and acquisition activity. Key responsibilities include:Troubleshooting: Advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve desktop-related issues efficiently.DEX Expertise: Enhancing user productivity and satisfaction through a deep understanding of Desktop Experience (DEX).Automation: Developing and implementing automation scripts to streamline desktop management tasks.Collaboration: Seamless integration and support of desktop systems with other IT teams.User Support: Providing expert-level support to end-users addressing technical concerns and training on best practices.Mandatory skills include 7-10 years of experience in Windows desktop engineering or a related field, subject matter expertise in Windows OS internals, and working knowledge of OS-level troubleshooting tools. A strong background in Desktop Experience (DEX) tools is also required. Analytical skills with a focus on root cause analysis and resolution are essential.
