Job Title: Civil Engineer ProfessionalWe are seeking an experienced Civil Designer with a passion for civil engineering projects.Primary Responsibilities: Complete design drawings in accordance with local standards and guidelines, and project specifications. Prepare preliminary and detailed design drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment. Coordinate project drawings with project engineer, and others. Ensure that the projects' needs are met in a timely and effective manner. Work under the direction of senior engineer working with team. Provide support in the design, drafting, modification and evaluation of civil engineering for Land Development projects.Key Requirements:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in Civil Engineering, preferably from a consulting engineering office environment.Bachelor of Engineering in Civil or related qualifications.Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D is a mandatory requirement, along with strong computer software skills in MS Word and Excel, and PDF viewer.Familiarity with various Municipal & Regional design and drafting standards and guidelines in Ontario, Canada.Experience in preliminary and detailed design drawing preparation associated with Land Development projects, including site servicing, site grading, stormwater management and floodplain management.Independent, Organized and Motivated Team player with excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced turnaround environment.Skills in HEC-RAS for floodplain analysis and water resource modeling is a bonus.
