Product Manager – Warehouse Management System (WMS)
About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated Product Manager - WMS to join our team. You will be responsible for driving innovation and optimization in warehouse management systems across multiple business lines, including General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), E-commerce, and Offline Stores. Your role will involve ensuring seamless warehouse operations, improving inventory handling efficiency, and enabling a robust system for managing inbound and outbound workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Own and drive the product roadmap for warehouse management systems, ensuring enhanced operational efficiency and seamless integration across GT, MT, E-commerce, and offline stores.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, supply chain, and engineering, to design, implement, and optimize WMS tools and processes.
Identify opportunities for automation and innovation in warehouse processes to reduce inefficiencies, improve order accuracy, and drive cost savings.
Leverage data analytics to derive actionable insights that improve warehouse performance, including stock movement, space utilization, and order fulfillment times.
Work closely with stakeholders to align WMS features with business needs, ensuring smooth implementation and maximum value realization.
Translate operational requirements into detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), use cases, and workflows for engineering and QA teams.
Ensure continuous improvement of warehouse operations by addressing bottlenecks, optimizing workflows, and enabling real-time visibility of inventory movement.
Desired Skills and Requirements
4+ years of product management experience, preferably in warehouse management systems, supply chain solutions, or logistics optimization.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related fields; MBA is a plus but not mandatory.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to process large datasets and extract insights to optimize warehouse operations.
Proven track record of delivering successful product solutions in fast-paced environments, balancing short-term goals with long-term strategy.
Experience working with engineering teams to deliver scalable, technology-driven solutions for warehouse operations.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive consensus across diverse teams.
