Seeking a Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our teamJob Summary:We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with international regulations.Main Responsibilities:Ensure effective SMS implementation and compliance across all managed vessels.Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines to support SMS goals.Conduct regular ship visits and internal audits to verify compliance with ISM Code requirements.Investigate and resolve non-conformities, observations, and near misses.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.Key Requirements:Strong understanding of ISM Code, MARPOL, SOLAS, OCIMF, and other relevant statutory and industry requirements.Proven experience in safety management, auditing, or a related field.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.We offer a competitive compensation package, opportunities for career growth and development, and a dynamic work environment that values employee well-being and engagement.This role requires flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond to emergencies and unexpected situations.
