Senior Tax Compliance SpecialistWe are seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Compliance Specialist to drive our tax compliance initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GST compliance and reporting, with a thorough understanding of GST law and regulations.The role involves ensuring timely and accurate filing of monthly/quarterly GST returns, reviewing GST reconciliations, and monitoring Input Tax Credit eligibility and utilization.The successful candidate will also possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.Prior experience in handling litigation matters under erstwhile IDT law is an added advantage.Key Responsibilities:Ensure Timely and Accurate Filing of GST Returns: Prepare and submit GSTR-1, 3B, 9, 9C, and other required GST returns on time.Review GST Reconciliations: Identify and address mismatches between GSTR 2A/2B and company books.Monitor Input Tax Credit Eligibility and Utilization: Ensure seamless ITC utilization and provide recommendations for process improvements.Oversee RCM Compliance: Monitor reverse charge mechanism (RCM) compliance and ensure related accounting accuracy.Provide Tax Advisory Services: Offer expert tax advice on business transactions, contracts, and inter/intra-state supplies.Analyze Impact of GST Amendments: Evaluate the implications of GST amendments, circulars, and notifications on business operations.Handle GST Audits: Coordinate with internal, statutory, and departmental auditors during GST audits.Prepare Replies to Notices and Summons: Manage responses to notices, summons, and queries from tax authorities.
