Job Overview:Daskalos Technologies Pvt. Ltd. seeks a professional to oversee legal, compliance, internal audits, and operational management for its physical campuses across India.This role will involve exposure to Daskalos' cross-functional teams and external partners, including universities, clients, and vendors.The candidate will report to the group's Global Data Protection Officer, who reports to the General Counsel.This role will support the Institute's data privacy program, ensuring compliance with Indian and global privacy laws and regulations.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement campus-wide privacy compliance strategies in accordance with Indian data protection laws (the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) and relevant international regulations.Conduct regular privacy and data protection audits across all campuses; identify risks, recommend, and track remediation measures.Coordinate with operational teams to ensure robust processes for the compliant handling of student, lead, faculty member, and employee personal data, and provide legal and strategic advice on privacy issues.Qualifications:Minimum 4 years of experience in legal or compliance roles, preferably with exposure to audit and operations in the education sector or campus operations.Familiarity with Indian data privacy laws and global regulatory frameworks.Law degree (LL.B.) from a recognized university.Required Skills:Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to work across multiple environments and stakeholders.Ability to multitask with rapidly changing priorities in a dynamic environment.
