Job DescriptionThe Director of Engineering will lead engineering teams and manage multiple teams within the Source organization. This individual will establish a high-tech culture, attract and hire top talent, provide full support to a business value stream, and develop team members.About the Role:This leader will have extensive experience in building distributed cloud systems with high availability and scale.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Management: Lead and manage engineering teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.Establish and maintain a high-tech culture, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.Attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent, reducing attrition and developing team members.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.Drive the execution and delivery of features by coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders.Operate with a metrics-focused mindset to transparently report progress, identify trends, and uncover opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.15+ years of experience in software engineering, including 5+ years in leadership roles, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-scale solutions and driving high-performing teams.Strong technical background with expertise in .Net, C#, Java, databases, AWS/Azure cloud, SaaS, Angular and/or React, and design and architectural patterns.Experience in managing and leading globally distributed engineering teams in a highly agile/scrum environment.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Proven ability to attract, hire, and retain top engineering talent.BenefitsThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Director of Engineering.
