This includes the management and execution of the corporate reporting and planning requirements RoleResponsible for a broad range of finance related responsibilities and acts as a finance generalistBusiness Partnering for Bill Pay Engg business Partner with the Engg business to support objective delivery by providing relevant financial analytics, regular reporting and business insights to key stakeholders, while developing robust tracking mechanismsApply strategic understanding of business dynamics and competitive forces in different markets to provide insights and that aid the business to make financially sound decisionsEscalate analysis and findings where applicable to Finance and Business leadership where course correction is required to deliver against financial plans and objectivesAssists with strategy and process improvements to ensure alignment with Engg objectives; proactively identifies ways to improve processes and executes agreed upon improvementFP&A Drives the financial planning and reporting related needs and requirements e.g. ownership of the develop of Budget, Forecasts, O&Rs and strategic plansOwns the monthly close process delivering analysis of variances against budget, forecasts, prior year actuals, key business drivers and initiatives. Review and provide thoughtful business driven commentary to management teamsDesign and execute on financial process improvements by building and maintaining financial tools to perform analysis and modellingSupport in building of business cases and tracking spend for key initiativesMonthly business reviews for Bill Pay on regional level, including commentaries per country and preparation of month performance deckSupport in regulatory asks for MPS (Dora, Defense file, audit requests, R&D etc.)Manage TCO and other technology spend, ensure close cooperation with Tech FinanceSupport in any MPS specific request related to Engineering capacity - efficiency realization, long term plans, validate business cases, portfolio spend follow-upInvestigate and create opportunities for automation and more efficient methods of insightful analysis creation and delivery, anticipating needs of internal customers and other stakeholdersAll about you Relevant qualification in business, accounting and/or Finance preferredExperience operating in a diverse, multi-functional accounting and/or finance group Ability to work independently but also be a team player; proactive and able to deliver within agreed deadlinesExperience building internal and external business partnerships; develops and leverages key relationships in order to understand the needs and objectives of stakeholdersSelf driven and good communication skillsExposure to supporting a designated business area on risk and opportunity considerations, leveraging analytical techniques as well as outside trends and eventsExperienced with financial systems and applications; serves as a resource to those less experienced (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle)Experience identifying and implementing process improvement activities; makes recommendations to further improve proceduresSuccessfully resolves complex issues in a timely and efficient mannerCorporate Security ResponsibilityAll activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must:Abide by Mastercard's security policies and practices;Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed;Report any suspected information security violation or breach, andComplete all periodic mandatory security trainings in accordance with Mastercard's guidelines.
