Our product engineers provide a strong technical voice in the product development process and use the best tools available to build highly reliable, sustained, and evolutionary software.As a Product Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and usability of our geospatial AI tools, models, and libraries. You will design and implement test plans, write test code, and validate software, SDKs, and AI models to help deliver robust, high-quality products to our customers. This will also include performing, documenting, and teaching a wide variety of technical tasks, developing best practices, creating tutorials and documentation, and gathering requirements. If you are passionate about geospatial AI, have a deep understanding of the product and customer needs, and communicate effectively via writing and presentations, this is the place to beResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement test plans and test cases, write test code, verify code changes, bug fixes for the relevant and related products to maintain product qualityReview and analyse test results; report status on software quality and stability; test and certify software, SDK, and AI model qualityTroubleshoot and triage customer issues, analyse user feedback to identify areas for improvementCollaborate with data scientists and engineers on the testing, documentation and release of tools, APIs and pretrained models for geospatial AIDevelop samples, tutorials, documentation, blog posts and presentation of product featuresDevelop pre-trained geospatial AI models for imagery, 3D datasets and textRequirements2 to 8 years of industry experience in a software development or QA environment, preferably in product-based or geospatial consulting companiesHands-on experience in QA processes, implementing test plans, developing or managing test automation, and product certificationProficiency in Python and Jupyter notebooks, GIS libraries like GDAL/Rasterio or ArcPy, and/or testing frameworks like PytestFamiliarity with GIS concepts, spatial data, and geospatial workflowsBasic understanding of machine learning and deep learning workflowsEffective project management, time management, and organizational skillsTechnical writing skills and experience authoring samples, blog posts, and product documentationBachelor's in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related fieldsExisting work authorization for IndiaRecommended QualificationsMaster's in GIS, geography, engineering, computer science, math, or related fieldsStrong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processesExperience working in an Agile/Scrum development processHands-on experience with the ArcGIS suite of products or open-source GIS softwareExperience with remote sensing, satellite imagery, and multispectral image analysis#LI-PK1#LI-Hybrid
