Loan Processing SpecialistJob Description: We are seeking a skilled loan processing professional to support our Mortgage Broking firm in various tasks related to loan processing, monitoring, and administrative support.This role requires excellent English language proficiency, strong organizational skills, and experience in loan processing. The ideal candidate will be confident in using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint).Provide Excellent Customer Service: Handle inbound and outbound calls, respond to loan enquiries, deliver timely updates, and resolve issues efficiently.Coordinate Loan Files: Manage the complete loan processing lifecycle, from initial lead stage through to formal approval. Oversee and manage the workflow of both new and existing deals. Prepare loan documents, review file accuracy, manage data, maintain filing systems, monitor application progress, and follow up with lenders, conveyancers, solicitors, agents, and other stakeholders.Lender Policies - Conduct in-depth research on lender products and policies. Understand lender policies of major banks and how it applies to deals. Knowledge of residential lending policies is a must. SMSF lending policies is a bonus.Analyse Information & Administration: Perform thorough analysis and verification of client financial documentation. Assess customer documents against policy standards, research lender requirements manage compliance, prepare FHOG applications, and produce accurate reporting.File & Data Management: Organise, update, and maintain secure digital files in line with confidentiality and firm procedures. Ensure accurate and compliant preparation of all loan documentation (loan packaging)Collaboration: Work closely with the team to deliver timely financial reports and compliance documentation.
