You will collaborate with architecture, development, security and DevOps teams to build a scalable, secure, and robust API-ecosystem using industry-leading technologies.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop APIs using leading-edge API management platformsDefine API governance policies: authentication/authorization (OAuth2, API-key, JWT), rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle managementManage the API gateway: routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), and traffic controlSet up and maintain the developer portal: publishing APIs, onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation, self-service subscriptionMonitor API usage, performance, latency, error metrics; analyze usage patterns and production issuesEnsure API security and resilience: secure back-end integrations, payload validation, threat mitigation, high-availabilityFamiliarity with cloud-based API Gateways and containerization is a plusStay current with emerging protocols (GraphQL, WebSockets) and evolving tool capabilitiesSkills and Qualifications:Hands-on experience with API Gateway tools and technologiesStrong knowledge of API design principles and best practicesProficiency in cloud computing and containerizationExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and collaboration skills
