Job OverviewWe're seeking a seasoned API Management Professional to spearhead the development and operation of our cutting-edge Enterprise AI API platform.This individual will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architecture, development, security, and DevOps, to design, build, and maintain a scalable, secure, and robust API ecosystem leveraging IBM's advanced API management technologies.Design and implement APIs using industry-leading tools like IBM API Connect, DataPower gateways, or equivalent platformsDevelop and enforce comprehensive API governance policies: authentication/authorization (OAuth2, API-key, JWT), rate limits, quotas, versioning, and lifecycle managementManage the API gateway: routing, transformation, orchestration, protocol mediation (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), and traffic controlPublish and maintain the developer portal: onboarding internal/external consumers, documentation, self-service subscription, and API publishingMonitor and analyze API performance metrics; track usage patterns and production issues to ensure seamless operationGuarantee API security and resilience: payload validation, threat mitigation, high-availability, and secure back-end integrationsProficient in AWS cloud services like API Gateway, S3, and EKSKey Responsibilities:API Design and ImplementationAPI Governance and SecurityAPI Gateway ManagementDeveloper Portal MaintenancePerformance MonitoringSecurity and ResilienceAWS Cloud ServicesRequirements:Proven experience in API managementStrong understanding of API security and governanceProficiency in IBM API Connect and/or DataPower gatewaysExperience with cloud-based API gatewaysKnowledge of AWS cloud servicesExcellent collaboration and communication skills
