The opportunity as Content Lead:We're looking for a data-driven Content Lead to build upon our existing foundation and to scale organic as a channel. As the Content Lead at Docsumo, you'll be responsible for driving organic traffic growth, improving conversion rates, and establishing Docsumo as the thought leader in the document processing and automation space. You will report to the Director of Marketing who reports to the CEO of the company.
Key Responsibilities:Define and execute the content marketing strategy and ensuring all content is on -brand, consistent, in terms of style, quality tone of voice across channelsCreate and oversee robust distribution playbooks for maximizing content reach and engagement across different channelsBuild and manage an editorial calendar targeting our ICPCollaborate with domain experts to create and syndicate authoritative content about document processing, automation, and AIDevelop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authorityCreate conversion-optimized content for different stages of the buyer journeyEstablish processes for content updates and optimization based on performance dataCoordinate with cross-functional teams to align content with demand generation goals
Must Have:5+ years of content marketing experience with proven success in B2B SaaSDemonstrated track record of scaling organic traffic and conversionsAdvanced proficiency in SEO tools and analytics platforms such as - Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, Ahrefs or similar SEO tools, Microsoft Clarity or similar user behavior tools, HubSpotStrong analytical skills with experience in data-driven content optimizationExperience in creating comprehensive content distribution strategiesProven ability to write for technical B2B audiencesDeep understanding of SEO best practices and current trendsExperience in managing content calendars and workflowsTrack record of improving key metrics like organic traffic, rankings, and conversion rates
Good to Have:Experience in the document processing, automation, or enterprise AI spaceKnowledge of enterprise sales cycles and B2B content requirementsExperience with conversion rate optimization (CRO)Understanding of marketing automation and lead scoringBackground in content repurposing and multi-channel distributionKnowledge of schema markup and technical SEO
