Job Title: Research Intern – Robotics

Job Overview:

Gahan AI Private Limited is seeking a passionate and skilled Robotics Research Intern to join our innovative team at Bangalore to work on Autonomous Ground Vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and knowledge in basic electronics & electrical circuitry design, and ROS (Robot Operating System) with C++ programming. The internship comes with opportunity for job offer on successful completion making it a great opportunity for final year engineering graduates & post graduates, and recent pass-outs (2024).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test robotic systems and components.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate electronic and electrical systems with robotic hardware.
  • Utilise ROS2 with C++ programming in path planning and controlling UGV.
  • Develop simulation models for SIL and HIL validation and verification.
  • Work on real vehicles at scale starting with AMR, Golf Carts, SUVs and Heavy Vehicles.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electronics and robotics.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotics and related technologies.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of basic electronics and electrical circuitry.
  • Proficiency in ROS2 with C++ programming. (Mandatory)
  • Prior experience in robotics projects or internships. (Mandatory)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python and Java.
  • Publication of research paper in similar domain
  • Knowledge of sensor integration and data processing.
  • Knowledge of deep learning and computer vision.
