Job Title: Research Intern – Robotics
Job Overview:
Gahan AI Private Limited is seeking a passionate and skilled Robotics Research Intern to join our innovative team at Bangalore to work on Autonomous Ground Vehicles. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and knowledge in basic electronics & electrical circuitry design, and ROS (Robot Operating System) with C++ programming. The internship comes with opportunity for job offer on successful completion making it a great opportunity for final year engineering graduates & post graduates, and recent pass-outs (2024).
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test robotic systems and components.
Collaborate with the team to integrate electronic and electrical systems with robotic hardware.
Utilise ROS2 with C++ programming in path planning and controlling UGV.
Develop simulation models for SIL and HIL validation and verification.
Work on real vehicles at scale starting with AMR, Golf Carts, SUVs and Heavy Vehicles.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to electronics and robotics.
Stay updated on the latest advancements in robotics and related technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of basic electronics and electrical circuitry.
Proficiency in ROS2 with C++ programming. (Mandatory)
Prior experience in robotics projects or internships. (Mandatory)
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python and Java.
Publication of research paper in similar domain
Knowledge of sensor integration and data processing.
Knowledge of deep learning and computer vision.
