Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Area Sales Executive to join our team in Siliguri. This is a full-time, mid-level position requiring a minimum of 4 years of experience in the FMCG sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving sales and building relationships in the assigned territory, ensuring the achievement of sales targets and growth objectives.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of work experience in FMCG sales, with a demonstrated ability to achieve targets.
- Proven expertise in sales strategy (Mandatory skill) and planning to drive business growth.
- Strong relationship management (Mandatory skill) skills to build and maintain customer and partner relationships.
- Ability to accurately forecast (Mandatory skill) sales and manage inventory levels.
- Proficient in market analysis to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Exceptional negotiation skills to close deals effectively.
- In-depth product knowledge to educate and influence customers.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Strong data analysis skills to interpret sales data and make informed decisions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve business objectives in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and partners.
- Conduct regular market visits to understand customer needs, identify opportunities, and monitor competition.
- Ensure timely collection of payments and manage credit control as per company policy.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities.
- Monitor and analyze sales data to make informed decisions and update sales strategies.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product features, benefits, and competitive products.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff and distributors to help them achieve their targets.
