Chief Security OfficerThe Chief Security Officer is responsible for overseeing the overall security of the Bulk Terminal, Coal Handling Plant (CHP), Jetty operations, and associated facilities.Lead and manage security teams to ensure optimal security performance across terminal, CHP, and jetty premises.Implement a robust surveillance system through CCTV, access control systems, and regular patrols.Develop and enforce security protocols for entry/exit of vehicles, materials, and personnel.Prevent theft, pilferage, unauthorized access, and damage to company assets.Supervise security staff including guards, supervisors, and contracted security personnel. Plan deployments according to operational needs and conduct regular briefings/drills.Maintain compliance with ISPS Code and port security norms. Prepare incident reports, MIS, daily/weekly/monthly security summaries.Lead emergency response for fire, medical emergencies, cargo issues, or security breaches. Conduct risk assessments, mock drills, and vulnerability studies.Liaise with local authorities, Coast Guard, and district administration. Handle legal/security investigations and regulatory inspections.Conduct audits of critical assets, warehouses, coal stockyards, conveyors, and equipment. Monitor high-risk zones including jetty operations, weighbridges, truck movement, and shift operations.
