Role OverviewWe're seeking a proactive professional to drive registration and engagement for conferences and events across the Middle East.This role requires a combination of marketing acumen, sales tele-calling, and customer service skills to build relationships with attendees and potential leads, contributing to the success of our events across regions.To learn more about our event types, visit our website: IDC.IDC is a global technology market research firm that accelerates customer success through data-driven insights.We've been recognized by the IIAR as the Analyst Firm of the Year five consecutive years (2020-2024), a testament to our commitment to excellence.Ours is a collaborative, innovative culture where you can discover your future.Key Responsibilities:Secure registrations through telephone follow-ups, maintaining accurate registration lists and providing insightful reports on registrant demographics, industries, and key metrics.Analyze attendance trends to optimize outreach strategies, adhering to IDC guidelines.Liaise with high-profile attendees such as C-level executives, government representatives, or other influential individuals.Follow up with registrants, address inquiries, and provide event information in a professional and engaging manner.BUILD lasting relationships with attendees and prospects to foster loyalty and continued engagement with IDC events.Employ a marketing mindset to identify and capitalize on lead-generation opportunities across digital, social media, and email channels, driving event registration and audience expansion.Maintain a well-organized contact database for IDC events.Gather feedback from attendees to enhance the event experience, identifying areas for improvement in content, services, and attendee satisfaction.Collaborate with the marketing and events team to contribute ideas, develop strategies, and implement improvements based on attendee insights and feedback.Attend events as needed to support on-site activities.QualificationsProfessional verbal communication skills, enabling effective message conveyance.Fluent English skills are mandatory.Understanding of marketing principles, including audience segmentation, lead generation, and engagement strategies.Prior experience in a similar role, focusing on relationship-building and lead generation.Proficiency in internet research and Microsoft Excel for data entry and analysis, with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the team.
