Enterprise Oracle Database Solution Expert

Database Architectural SpecialistThe ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing, optimizing and ensuring the performance of Oracle databases across various versions. This involves installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and troubleshooting of these systems.A strong understanding of high-availability environments is required, along with automation, security, and compliance skills.The selected individual must perform periodic maintenance / patching as needed.Monitoring database performance and performing proactive tuning is also a key responsibility.Backup and recovery using RMAN and Oracle Recovery Manager strategies must be managed efficiently.Best practices and automation initiatives should be defined and implemented.The successful candidate will lead database migration projects (on-prem to cloud / version upgrades).Necessary Skills:RMAN backup and recovery strategies proficiency.Strong knowledge of Oracle Data Guard for high availability and disaster recovery.Hands-on experience in performance tuning and query optimization.Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) for monitoring and management expertise.Patching, upgrades, and database cloning experience.Solid understanding of Unix/Linux system administration related to Oracle.Proficiency in writing complex PL/SQL scripts and shell scripting for automation.Large-scale database environment handling (multi-TB) experience.Excellent communication skills with technical and management teams.
