SKILL SUMMARY:

- Business Domain acumen: Familiarity with any domain business processes and familiarity with standardization initiatives like Industry 4.0, Open Banking, ACORD
- Stakeholder management: Analysis of the needs of stakeholders, business problems to be solved and status reporting. Ability to frame architectural decisions, provide technology leadership & direction.
- Problem solving & Issues resolution: Causal analysis, employing different problem solving techniques and smart resolution of conflicts. Ability to work with a multi-technology/cross-functional teams and customer stakeholders to guide/managing a full life-cycle of a data solution
- Data Domain skills: Familiarity with Digital transformation, OLAP Database management systems, ETL pipelines, data modeling, Data quality, Data visualization, Data governance, MDM, AI/ML, Data observability, FinOps. Experience in end to end solution development. Good to have DBBOK/ Data Architecture/TOGAF certifications
- Communication: Good listener and effective at communication.

Professional Experience Required

Core Skills

- 18-20 years of experience in designing, architecting enterprise data platforms
- Extensive experience working with large data sets with hands-on technology skills to design and build robust Data solutions using one of Spark framework or hyperscaler’s (AWS/Azure/GCP data services) and knowledge on one of data platform tool like Databricks/Snowflake , BI & AI tools & technologies.
- Experience/exposure to Data governance, Data Quality, Data Catalog, Data Security, MDM and its implementation styles, Data Observability.
- Experience in Integration of data platform with enterprise applications via APIs/event driven architecture etc.
- Strong understanding of Data Analytics platforms and ETL in the context of large data sets, batch and streaming, structured, semi-structured and unstructured
- Extensive experience in data modeling and database design involving any combination of - Data warehousing and Business Intelligence systems and tools
- Relational and MPP database platforms like (Netezza/Teradata/Azure Synapse/AWS RedShift/GCP Big Query)
- Experience in performance tuning of large data platforms.
