Job Summary(ability to work in night shift preferred):

We are seeking a skilled PHP Developer with experience in either Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks and proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL databases. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of backend and front-end development and must be comfortable working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams. This role requires flexibility to work on rotational night shifts, aligning with UK timings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
  • Design and optimize database structures and queries in MySQL or PostgreSQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, QA, and other developers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure performance and usability.
  • Integrate third-party APIs and web services into existing systems.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code adhering to industry best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Adapt to changing project requirements and deliver tasks within specified timelines.
  • Ensure application security and compliance with best practices.
  • Work on rotational night shifts (aligned with UK business hours).

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ yrs proven experience as a PHP Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Expertise in either Laravel or CodeIgniter frameworks.
  • Proficiency in MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, including query optimization.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of MVC architecture and RESTful API development.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work on rotational shifts, including nights.

Work Hours:

  • Rotational night shifts aligning with UK business hours.

Location:

  • Remote for night shifts/on-premise for day shifts - Candidates from Coimbatore will be preferred
