Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer TestOur organization is seeking a skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test who possesses experience automating testing for web (Next.js) and API (Python/Django) systems.The ideal candidate should possess 3+ years of experience in automation testing, boasting a strong engineering mindset, excellent debugging and online searching skills, effective communication skills, and superior problem-solving skills.The selected candidate will be hands-on with Playwright for end-to-end testing and have experience with manual testing.The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks that can be reused across different types of testing (UI, API, performance, security), driving an AI-first testing strategy by integrating AI-driven solutions into the QA process, implementing and scaling Playwright-based automation across web applications (Python/Django + JavaScript/NextJS), performing manual testing where required, building CI/CD-integrated test systems to ensure continuous, reliable test coverage, identifying gaps, bottlenecks, and risks in automation pipelines and resolving them proactively, ensuring test reliability, maintainability, and scalability by focusing on frameworks, not one-off scripts, mentoring junior QA engineers, and collaborating with developers, DevOps, and product teams to raise quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks for various testing types.Drive AI-first testing strategies by integrating AI-driven solutions into the QA process.Implement and scale Playwright-based automation across web applications.Perform manual testing where necessary.Build CI/CD-integrated test systems for continuous, reliable test coverage.Identify and resolve gaps, bottlenecks, and risks in automation pipelines.Mentor junior QA engineers and collaborate with development teams.Requirements:3+ years of experience in automation testing.Strong engineering mindset, excellent debugging and online searching skills, effective communication skills, and superior problem-solving skills.Hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end testing and manual testing.Ability to design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks.Knowledge of CI/CD integration and test coverage.Collaboration and mentoring skills.What We Offer:A dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development.A competitive compensation package.A comprehensive benefits program.Ongoing training and professional development opportunities.How to Apply:Please submit your application, including your resume and cover letter, to us.
