System Design Engineer

Job Title: Avionics Systems DesignerWe are looking for a skilled professional to lead the design and development of avionics systems for UAV platforms. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mission-specific and safety-critical requirements.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop avionics systems for ongoing and upcoming UAV platforms.Research and select suitable electronic components, sensors, and hardware for performance, reliability, and environmental adaptability.Integrate sensors such as GPS, IMU, lidar, radar, and vision systems for navigation, obstacle avoidance, and situational awareness.Develop, test, and maintain autopilot and navigation software, leveraging real-time data and control algorithms.Assemble, integrate, and test electrical and propulsion systems, including BLDC motors, EFI Internal Combustion Engines (ICE), JET Engines and other configurations.Conduct comprehensive testing to validate UAV performance, stability, and reliability under diverse operational conditions.Implement redundancy and fail-safe mechanisms, ensuring safe and reliable operations during flight.Document deviations and maintain records of design, testing, and configuration processes for regulatory compliance.Investigate and resolve technical challenges during development and testing phases.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to optimize UAV systems.Ensure adherence to aviation regulations and standards, participating in certification processes.Prepare technical reports, operational manuals, and detailed documentation for regulatory and internal purposes.Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to enhance UAV capabilities.Responsibilities include:Leading cross-functional teams to optimize UAV systemsEnsuring adherence to aviation regulations and standardsPreparing technical reports and documentationRequirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as aerospace engineering or computer scienceSignificant experience in avionics system design and developmentExpertise in mission-specific and safety-critical requirementsKnowledge of electronic components, sensors, and hardwareExperience with autopilot and navigation software developmentStrong understanding of aviation regulations and standardsBenefits:This is an excellent opportunity to work on cutting-edge technology and contribute to the development of next-generation UAV systems.
