Job Title: Mechanical Project EngineerJob Summary:This is a unique opportunity to work as a mechanical project engineer in a dynamic business with exciting products. As part of our multi-cultural team, you will be responsible for delivering multiple onsite projects and ensuring their completion on time, within budget, and specification.Main Responsibilities:Deliver onsite projects and oversee their timely completion, budget adherence, and compliance with specifications.Identify high-risk tasks or issues and drive resolution in a timely manner.Analyze project specifications, develop work schedules, and delegate tasks to different teams.Ensure all engineering and manufacturing processes are followed by sub-suppliers/contractors.Supervise staff and manufacturing processes, making recommendations for improvement.Collaborate with engineers and technical personnel to develop instructional manuals where required.Interpret complex 2D/3D drawings and guide sub-contractors and other associates on work.Troubleshoot and solve complex problems.Conduct research on field developments and network with other engineers and professionals.Liaise with clients and write reports to present to leaders.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant academic field, such as Engineering or Technology (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical).Minimum 5 years of experience in supervising medium to high complexity field projects.Experience in manufacturing methodologies, metallurgy, fabrication, inspection, and international standards.Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical drawings, switch gears, parts, functions, etc.Basic skills in Autocad or MDT and exposure to PLCs and other automation software.Solid language skills (verbal and written) in English are required.Competencies:Good leadership and communication skills targeting the relevant audience in the organization, across cultures.Skilled communicator targeting the audience in the organization, with proficiency in English.Well-organized and disciplined in implementing projects.Innovative and outgoing team member.Experienced in supervising global multi-cultural teams.Knowledgeable on manufacturing process, metallurgy, inspection techniques, etc.What We Offer:We offer an opportunity to be part of a solid multi-culture team in an exciting business with great products, supporting our mission.
