As we expand our mission, Lumosity is pioneering digital medicine. Leveraging our extensive technology, data, and over 100 peer-reviewed studies, we are developing digital programs aimed at treating, monitoring, and rehabilitating cognitive and neurological conditions. We are on the verge of launching our first digital therapeutic product, aimed at treating adult ADHD, following the successful completion of clinical trials.


In 2024, we are poised for significant growth with:

  • The rebuild and relaunch of Lumosity on a new tech stack.
  • Regulatory clearance and the commercial launch of our ADHD digital therapeutic.
  • Expansion of our research platform, supporting internal and external research collaborations.

Lumos Labs is headquartered in San Francisco, with key operations expanding globally, including in Bangalore.


WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Lumosity is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Internationalization Program Manager to oversee the end-to-end localization, globalization, and internationalization efforts across our platforms, games, marketing, and customer experience. This role requires expertise in managing translation tools, vendor relationships, and budget planning, as well as the ability to collaborate with engineering, marketing, and customer experience teams to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple languages and regions.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Localization & Translation Management

  • Manage the subscription contract for Transifex (TX), including renewal negotiations, word-count monitoring, and feature utilization for reporting and efficiencies.
  • Maintain and leverage Translation Memory files to reduce costs, ensure consistency, and prepare for potential localization tool migrations.
  • Coordinate translations for all platforms, including games, mobile apps (Flutter), and marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborate with vendors to execute translation tasks and manage quality assurance (LQA) processes.


Globalization & Internationalization

  • Ensure global readiness (G11n) by monitoring date formats, currency, cultural norms, and personalized content.
  • Optimize localization processes for web and mobile platforms, including managing integrations between Transifex and GitHub for string updates.
  • Conduct sanity checks for language accuracy in supported languages during app builds and game releases.


Marketing Campaigns

  • Localize email, popup, and push campaigns using Braze and connected content.


Customer Experience (CX)

  • Localize Zendesk Help Centers, macros, and holiday notifications.


Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with translation vendors, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Support research-related localization projects, including translating documentation and coordinating deliverables.


WHO YOU ARE

  • Experience: 5+ years in localization, globalization, or program management roles, preferably in a tech or gaming environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Transifex, JSON/ARB file management, GitHub integrations, and QA tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
  • Languages: Understanding of localization needs across multiple languages.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong budget management and reporting capabilities.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
