Job OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Accounting Professional to oversee accounting, compliance, and reporting tasks.Month End Close: Run reconciliations, journal entries, and financial statements to ensure accuracy and timeliness.Bookkeeping Review: Conduct thorough reviews of AP, AR, payroll entries, and clean up work to maintain a clean ledger.Tax Filings: Prepare and review federal and state tax filings and supporting schedules to meet regulatory requirements. Maintain the general ledger, chart of accounts, and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability. Coordinate with auditors and prepare audit-ready reports to facilitate smooth audits. Advise leadership on tax planning, compliance, and financial controls to drive business growth. Develop and refine accounting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and speed. Prepare cash flow reports, forecasts, and budget comparisons to inform strategic decisions.Requirements:Active CPA license or equivalent3-7 years of experience in public accounting or in-house financeStrong knowledge of US GAAP and tax rulesHands-on experience with QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platformsAbility to work independently and communicate clearlyExperience with multistate filings is a plusMust be available to join immediatelyWhat We OfferA dynamic and challenging role with opportunities for growth and professional development.
